Lauren Bruggemans is the Director of Sustainability & Community Engagement at Visit Greater Palm Springs, where she leads initiatives focused on sustainability, social impact, and youth development. Raised in Singapore, Jakarta, and Cape Town, her global upbringing shaped a career that began in hospitality and evolved into purpose-driven work, including leading the Sumba Hospitality Foundation in Indonesia—recognized by the UNWTO for empowering underserved youth. Now back in her hometown, Lauren continues to drive positive change, grounded in a master’s in Social Business from the London School of Economics and a passion for responsible tourism.
