EXPLORE: Shaping Stronger Communities

Join us for the inaugural Advocacy & Action: The Destination Impact Event, where destination leaders come together to explore the strategies, partnerships and solutions that strengthen communities and shape the future of destination organizations.

Bringing together Destinations International's Advocacy Summit and Thrive Summit under one shared experience, this event delivers dedicated education across advocacy, policy, research, workforce development, community engagement, accessibility and destination impact. Through inspiring keynotes, practical sessions and cross-disciplinary collaboration, you'll gain the insights, tools and connections needed to elevate your organization's influence and create lasting community impact.

Whether your focus is advancing public policy, building resident support, strengthening your workforce or driving meaningful community outcomes, Advocacy & Action: The Destination Impact Event will equip you to lead with purpose, collaborate across disciplines and turn ideas into action.

Join us October 20–22, 2026, in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada and be part of a new event designed to help destination leaders shape stronger communities.
