2025 Small Destination Organization Scholarship Application

Destinations International Foundation is pleased to offer eligible employees of small destination organizations ($3Million or less operating budgets) opportunities for registration scholarships to attend 2025 Destinations International Events. The application period for the following events is now available:
 

  • Scholarships for CEO Summit
    • Event Dates: March 23-25, 2025 | Savannah, GA
    • Application Opens: Monday December 2, 2024
    • Application Closes: Friday February 7, 2025
       
  • Scholarships for Annual Convention
    • Event Dates: July 9-11, 2025 | Chicago, IL
    • Application Opens: Monday March 10, 2025
    • Application Closes: Friday May 9, 2025
       
  • CDME Scholarships for one CDME Spring course
    • Event Dates: Week of April 7, 2025 | Washington, D.C. Metro Area
    • Application Opens: Monday January 6, 2025
    • Application Closes: Friday February 21, 2025
       
  • Scholarships for Convention Sales & Services Summit
    • Event Dates:Week of April 7, 2025 | Washington, D.C. Metro Area

Applicants must adhere to all six of the eligibility requirements below.

 

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Scholarships for individual events are available to eligible employees noted above.
  2. Applicant must be employed by a small destination organization member, defined as having an operating budget of $3Million or less and be a Destination International member in good standing. 
  3. Applicant must be able to attend the full event that they are awarded.
  4. Applicants’ organization must have completed their Social Impact Assessment Tool, DOPR and Comp and Benefit tool information.
  5. Applicants must provide a testimonial to be used for future small destination organization marketing. Testimonial can include career growth, peer to peer networking, and organization advancements from your experience with Destinations International.   
  6. Scholarships available for all employees who are already registered for each event as well as new registrations.

Disclaimer

Awardees shall not receive more than one registration scholarship annually. Destination organizations that have not been awarded a scholarship previously within the given year will be given priority when evaluating applications. The scholarship is in a fixed, non-negotiable amount which may not cover the total cost of the trip. Scholarships are awarded at the sole discretion of the Destinations International Foundation and based on available funding and satisfaction of all eligibility requirements; the grant funds will be disbursed upon registration for each event. All decisions shall be considered final, without exception, unless a selectee is unable to attend the educational event. Any scholarships not applied for and accepted may be offered to potential new Destinations International members.
