Global Leaders Forum 2025

11-13 February, 2025 | Dublin, Ireland

This inaugural event marks a new era of global engagement, as Destinations International hosts our first ever global forum outside North America, emphasising our commitment to global engagement and leadership within the destination organisation and convention bureau industry.

The Destinations International Global Leaders Forum represents a pivotal moment for leaders within the destination organization and convention bureau industry to engage on a global scale. Set against the backdrop of Dublin's rich heritage, this exclusive, invitation only, forum will convene industry leaders to address contemporary challenges and opportunities, offering a platform for in-depth discussions on sustainability, inclusivity, and the evolving economic landscape.

Explore strategic insights and collaborative solutions that will shape the future of global tourism. The program will enrich this dialogue with diverse panel discussions, immersive learning opportunities, and dynamic roundtable discussions, featuring unparalleled insights from world-renowned speakers like Greg Clark, CBE, FAcSS, an expert in urban development and city strategy, Adrian Cooper, CEO of Oxford Economics, known for his profound economic forecasting and policy advice.

‘Climate emergency, segregation and inequality, Geo-Political recession, growing conflicts and volatility, the emergence of a new global disorder, shifts in the global centres of economic gravity, and the playing out of post pandemic trends and behaviours. Combined these create a compelling mandate to reimagine how destinations can define new paths. In 2025, this cycle will take a fresh shape following the completion of a series of important democratic elections that will determine whether the scope for a refreshed plural consensus has been strengthened or weakened, and how far the scope for global hosting has been constrained or enabled’.
