Maria Sheetz currently serves as the Director of Tourism Sales at Journera. In her current role she works with DMOs and tourism boards on helping them to drive more visitors to their destinations through Journera’s unique and comprehensive data audience segments. She advises tourism organizations on maximizing ad spend and reach more customers through Journera’s platform of airline and hotel data and managed advertising campaign services. Prior to Journera, she was the Senior Director of Partnership Development at Brand USA. In that capacity Maria managed the partnership team and worked with state tourism boards, DMOs, hotels, atttractions and retail groups to deliver international marketing program opportunities to destinations looking to increase inbound international travel to the US and to their specific destination. Earlier in her career, Maria held previous leadership roles in marketing partnerships and sales at Choice Hotels International.
