Washington, D.C. (Feb. 3, 2020) – Destinations International, the world’s largest resource for official destination organizations and convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), today announced that the new host city for the hybrid 2021 Annual Convention will be Baltimore, MD. It also announced its proposed virtual and hybrid event schedule for 2021.

As the premier event for destination professionals, Destinations International's 2021 Annual Convention will provide a unique opportunity for destination organizations to come together virtually and in-person for fully interactive hybrid educational experience.

“Each year our Annual Convention offers networking and educational opportunities for destination organization professionals in destinations around the world,” said Don Welsh, President and CEO of Destinations International. “The 2021 Annual Convention may look a little different as we adapt to the new challenges that come along with meeting safely in person in accordance with health and safety standards. We know nothing can replace the experience of face-to-face meetings and we are thrilled to host this very important industry meeting in Baltimore, MD. I know that Al Hutchinson, President and CEO of Visit Baltimore, and Treasurer of Destinations International, and his team, will go to great lengths to provide a memorable and safe experience for all attendees.”
