Destinations International Announces Caitlyn Blizzard, CDME as Vice President of Communications

WASHINGTON, D.C. (August 30, 2019) – Destinations International today announced the promotion of Caitlyn Blizzard, CDME to Vice President of Communications for Destinations International, effective August 13, 2019. Blizzard served as the organization’s Director of Communications since May of 2017. Blizzard will lead all corporate communications and public relations strategies for the association and the global destination organization industry.

Prior to joining Destinations International, Blizzard served as the Director of Communications for the Alpharetta Convention and Visitors Bureau in Georgia. During her five-year tenure at the city’s official destination marketing organization, she led the bureau’s public relations, social media and communications efforts to drive visitation to the city. Prior to joining the destination organization world, Blizzard worked with a technology company and in the Public Information Office with the Santa Rosa County Board of County Commissioners. Blizzard is a Florida native with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Arts from the University of West Florida. She is a member of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), Junior League of Washington and the Washington, D.C. chapter of the University of West Florida Alumni Association.
