30 Under 30 2018 Group Shot

The 30 Under 30 Program is a program by the Destinations International Foundation. It is supported by founding program partner SearchWide Global and sponsored by IMEX, MMGY Global, and Northstar Meetings Group.

Investing in the future generation of destination experts, 30 individuals under the age of 30 will be selected annually to gain valuable industry networking opportunities and increased thought leadership throughout the year.

Program Benefits

  • Opportunity to apply to attend the Association of Australian Convention Bureaux's Annual Conference

Requirements/Criteria

  • Candidates must be under 30 years of age at the time of the submission deadline.
  • Must presently work for a destination organization, convention and visitors bureau (CVB) or tourism board that is a member of Destinations International at the time of the submission deadline.
  • Must be an employee of the organization for at least 1.5 years consecutively (internships included) at the time of the submission deadline.
  • Nominees must submit applications, with approval and sign off from the CEO/Executive Director of the destination organization.
  • Submissions must include completed application, resume, short bio, headshot and video addressing questions asked within the application.
  • Video submission must be self-produced using a candidate’s own devices - this basically means, we aren't looking for professionally produced videos! Candidates are encouraged to be creative and make their video submission fun and entertaining. Videos produced by an outside marketing agency will not be accepted.
  • Only one individual from an organization will be chosen if multiple applicants from the same destination organization are nominated.
