The Destinations International Foundation’s 30 Under 30 program is supported by founding program partner SearchWide and sponsored by IMEX and Northstar. 

Investing in the future generation of destination experts, 30 individuals under the age of 30 will be selected annually to gain valuable industry networking opportunities and increased thought leadership throughout the year.

  • Candidates must be under 30 years of age at the time of the submission deadline.
  • Must presently work for a destination organization, convention and visitors bureau (CVB) or tourism board.
  • Must be an employee of the organization for at least 1.5 years consecutively (internships included).
  • Submissions must include completed application, resume, short bio and video addressing questions asked within the application.
  • Video submission must be self-produced using a candidate’s own devices (This basically means, we aren't looking for professionally produced videos.)
  • Nominees must submit applications, with approval and sign off from the CEO/Executive Director of the destination organization.
  • Only one individual from an organization will be chosen if multiple submissions from the same destination organization are submitted.

Applications for the 2019 class will open in spring of 2019.
