Community Alignment Committee

The Community Alignment Committee shall serve as a strategic advisory body focused on strengthening the connection between destination organizations and their stakeholder communities. The committee will explore opportunities for destination organizations to align tourism efforts with local values, support community well-being, and foster partnerships that enhance quality of place.

The committee may advise on professional development, resource development, or peer learning opportunities that help destinations build resident trust, engage stakeholders, and support inclusive, sustainable community outcomes. Its work reflects emerging trends in placemaking, stakeholder collaboration, and community engagement.
