Jennifer Beatty DES, HMCC, has over 17 years of extensive industry experience. One of her greatest accomplishments was establishing & founding Meeting of the Minds, a member-driven organization for tourism sales professionals to collaborate, share experiences & knowledge. This led Jennifer to become co-founder of Destination Direct Canada. A hosted buyer program exclusively connects DMOs to association executives & conference planners.  

Jen has held previous positions early in her career with Ottawa Tourism, Travel Alberta, Resiada Inc. as Managing Director and currently with Tourism Calgary.  

Jennifer is no stranger to volunteering, former Director for Meetings Mean Business Canada & Past President MPI Ottawa. Effective January 1, 2023, Jennifer will be Chair of MPI Global Board of Trustees with MPI & is recently recognized among the top 50 up & comers focused on Inspiration and evolution in the industry.
