Susie Santo joined the Visit Wichita team in the summer of 2012, as the President and CEO. She has quickly made an impact on the Wichita travel and tourism industry and the community. In 2014, she led the initiative to create the state’s first Tourism Business Improvement District.  The new funding source is utilized to market Wichita at unprecedented levels.  

Prior to joining Visit Wichita, Susie had a successful 19-year career with Universal Studios Hollywood where she held numerous positions in operations, brand marketing, product development and sales.  

Susie currently serves on several local, state and national boards including: The Wichita Chamber of Commerce, Wichita Downtown Development Corporation, Greater Wichita Area Sports Commission, The Independent School Board, Travel Industry Association of Kansas and the US Travel Board. She previously served as the Board Chair of the California Travel Association.  

Susie is a graduate of The University of Kansas and a former college athlete. Susie is married to Frank who is the owner of Santo Law Office, P.A. They have an 8 year old daughter, Sophia.
