Jason Fulvi was appointed President & CEO of Visit KC in September 2018.

With more than 32 years of experience in the hospitality and tourism industries, Fulvi comes to Kansas City from VisitPITTSBURGH, where he has served for 16 years and most recently as the organization’s Executive Vice President.

Fulvi grew up in a small town in Western Pennsylvania and graduated from Indiana University of Pennsylvania with a degree in Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional Management. He began his hospitality career as a hotel dishwasher, working his way up through the industry and serving companies such as Hilton Worldwide and Holiday Inn, before joining VisitPITTSBURGH in May 2002.

In 2007, Jason became a Certified Destination Management Executive (CDME). The CDME status is recognized within the convention and visitors bureau industry as its highest educational achievement.

Jason served two consecutive terms as the chair of Destinations International’s Sales and Marketing Committee and was previously the chair of Destinations International’s Meetings Industry Network Committee (MINT).  He is currently Chair of the Destinations International Foundation.
