Ignasi de Delàs is the Deputy General Manager of Turisme de Barcelona.

He graduated from the University of Barcelona with a degree in Economics and Management Science and currently serves on the European Cities Marketing (ECM) Administration Board and as Vice-President of the UNWTO Affiliate Members.

From 1983 to 1991, he was a consultant of different private companies including WTO (World Tourism Organization) and UNDP (United Nations Development Program).

From 1992 to 1993, he was the Director for Tourism at the Barcelona Official Chamber of Commerce, contributing to create and develop Turisme de Barcelona, the private-public tourist board of the city where he worked until 2004.

Delàs served on the European Cities Tourism (ECT) board from 2000-2004 and as Vice President from 2002-2004. He was the General Manager of the Catalan Tourism Board (2004-2011) and President of European Cities Marketing (ECM) (2013 -2017).
