George Washington University and Destinations International Partner to Provide Destination Organizations with Educational Opportunities

Washington, D.C., USA (July 11, 2022) – Destinations International, the world’s largest resource for official destination organizations and convention and visitors bureaus (CVBs), and the George Washington University School of Business today announced an initiative that will provide up to a twenty-five percent tuition scholarship to Destinations International members who are accepted into GW’s Master of Science in Tourism, Hospitality and Event Management (MS THEM).

“By partnering with the George Washington University School of Business, Destinations International is able to provide cutting-edge professional development opportunities for our members,” said Don Welsh, president and CEO of Destinations International. “This partnership demonstrates our commitment to empowering destination organization professionals with the skills and knowledge that are critical for advancing their communities.”
