Thank you for your interest in continuing your leadership development in the 30 Under 30 program! The 30 Under 30 Ambassador program is an opportunity for recognized rising stars of the industry to engage with deeper leadership development, peer mentoring and connections within the tourism industry. All 30 Under 30s from the 2018 class are eligible to participate in the 2019 Ambassador program.

Prerequisites:

• Must be a member of the 2018 30 Under 30 class
• Must currently be working for a CVB maintaining an active membership with Destinations International

Ambassador Benefits & Requirements

• Must have been in the 30 Under 30 Program in 2018. 
   
• Ambassadors will be awarded complimentary registration and three nights hotel at the 2019 Annual Convention, sponsored by the Destinations International Foundation.
   
• Ambassadors will be required to participate in all 30 Under 30 events throughout the year, including taking a leadership role at the 30 Under 30 orientation, webinars and networking events.
   
• Ambassadors will be required to serve on the Professional Development Committee (PDC). The PDC is a high-level group of destination professionals from across the country that directs educational content development for the 2020 Annual Convention. The PDC includes a one-day in-person meeting in Washington, D.C. in early 2020, as well as additional conference calls throughout the year.
  Note: Ambassadors will be responsible for their own travel expenses to Washington, D.C. for the one-day in-person meeting.
   
• Ambassadors will be charged in coming up with a plan for connecting and engaging the network of active 30 Under 30 alumni from all prior years.
   
• Ambassadors will be have the opportunity to submit an education session for 2020 Annual Convention, either in an individual format or collaboratively with other 30 Under 30s.

• Opportunity to sit in on a Board Meeting as the 30 Under 30 Ambassadors for the 2019-2020 year.
