Destinations International's workforce brief, "Addressing Workforce Diversification and Retention in the Travel Industry," emphasizes the significant need for a more diverse industry workforce in United States. Underscoring the challenges and realities faced by underrepresented populations, this brief introduces DI’s 10-year vision to attract diverse talent and ensure representation in leadership.

Through five core commitments, the brief outlines how DI will measure progress from 2025-2027. Insights and perspectives from educational institutions, youth and parents, federal agencies, destination organizations, and industry partners will shape DI’s actions from 2028 to 2035.
