The Destinations International Foundation is a nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering destinations globally to excel through innovation and resource incubation.

We believe that destination organizations are essential to the success of destinations worldwide and the cornerstone of their communities. That is why we invest in research, advocacy, talent development and global engagement and exchange.

With every dollar raised, the Foundation takes aim at and helps ensure the continued growth of our industry worldwide. Investment in the Foundation directly supports innovation and incubation.

Donate to the CEO Summit Silent Auction

The Destinations International Foundation is thrilled to announce our CEO Summit Silent Auction. Every dollar raised will help ensure the continued growth of our industry worldwide!  

We encourage our members to support the foundation by donating items geared towards the audience that will attend the summit. Auction ideas can include trips to your destination, hotels, entrances for attractions, experiences, and city swag. Attendees also love to see vendor packages, luxury goods, technology items, fashion and themed baskets.

“Please support the Destinations International Foundation’s efforts by donating destination experiences, supplier packages, or anything else our members may find exciting and useful for our Silent Auction this year,” said Ellie Westman Chin, President & CEO of Destination Madison and Chair of the Destinations International Foundation. “The funds raised will support the critical initiatives of the Foundation that provide essential resources and tools to every member!”

You can upload your own donations and include items such as a full description of your prize, the value of your item, and pictures which will show potential winners what they are bidding on.  



Step 1: Gather your donation item idea and head to the Givergy Site.

Step 2: Once in the Givergy auction site, see “DONATE ITEM” on the left side of the page. This will direct you to a screen asking for your phone number and then a screen asking for your first and last name, email, phone number and then you will need to set a password. Please note: You do not need to put in your credit card information to continue with your donation.  

Step 3: You can click into add your phone or email for us to check in with you, but it is not mandatory. This should direct you to your donation screen where it will ask for a title, description, and terms, start price, estimated retail value, donated by, numbers of items available, and then load up your own pictures.  

All donors will be acknowledged at the event and part of our annual contributors to the Destinations International Foundation. Each donor will be responsible for distributing the prize to winners, but introductions will be made. This includes either shipping or emailing the prize to the winner.
