Emily Scheiderer Named as a 2025 "Meetings Trendsetter" by Meetings Today
WASHINGTON, DC, USA (AUGUST 4, 2025) - Destinations International, the world's leading and most trusted trade association for destination organizations, is proud to share that Emily Scheiderer, vice president of professional development at Destinations International, has been named by Meetings Today as a member of its class of 2025 "Meetings Trendsetters."
Meetings Today annually recognizes twenty (20) professionals who are having a significant impact in the meetings and events sector. In addition to Destinations International, organizations represented in this year's list include IMEX, MGM Resorts International, the U.S. Travel Association and Capital One, among others.

Emily joined Destinations International in 2022 as the director of education, sales and services, was promoted to senior director in 2023 and to the vice president in 2025. She is a hospitality enthusiast with experience in both destination organizations and hotels. With a passion for intentional engagement and the sharing of thought leadership, Emily builds meaningful connections across sectors, overseeing Destinations International's Large Market Roundtable, Convention Sales and Services Committee and Planner Influencer Board, as well as serving on multiple industry committees and boards. Outside of industry, she is equally committed to philanthropy and family.
