Destinations International Announces Registration is Open for the 2018 Fall Learning Week

Washington, D.C. (September 7, 2018) – Destinations International Chair William Pate and President and CEO of Atlanta Convention & Visitors Bureau and President and CEO Don Welsh today announced the details for the 2018 Fall Learning Week, which will take place November 11-17, 2018 in Seattle, Washington, USA.

“As one of our four pillars, education is extremely important to our association and our members,” said Pate. “Destinations International is the definitive resource for professional development and management. Fall Learning Week will provide attendees with the continuing education needed to build a successful destination.”

“Learning Week brings together a variety of tourism professionals to engage with fellow leaders and take deeper dives on crucial educational content,” said Welsh. “We are especially proud to bring back the CDME Summit, which is something our members expressed interest in.”

Fall Learning Week Offerings:

CDME Summit, November 11-13, 2018

Back by popular demand, the CDME Summit brings together CDME graduates to take learning to the next level. Attendees will take deeper dives into CDME core initiatives such as strategic issues and destination leadership. Attendees will earn valuable points for recertification by attending the summit.

The CDME program focuses on vision, leadership, productivity and implementing business strategies. Join fellow senior executives in advancing your career to blend theory with experience and application of knowledge to help you thrive in a constantly changing environment.
