Anaheim is all about characters. They're in our DNA. We're a city built on imagination, possibility and creativity, beginning with hometown genius Walt Disney. That spirit is unleashing a wave of must-dos across the city.

Here are my top picks of what you need to experience when you're in Anaheim. Be prepared to be transformed by our unique experiences!

Where to Eat:

  • The Catch - Overlooking Angel Stadium, enjoy some of my favorite fresh surf and turf dishes while sampling one of their 50+ whiskey offerings.

  • The RANCH Saloon & Restaurant - Whether two-stepping or a Tomahawk steak is your thing - The RANCH is the place to be. The restaurant's fresh, rustic, farmhouse style fare is the perfect precursor to a night of line-dancing and two-stepping at the Saloon!

  • Zov's - Take ART (Anaheim Resort Transportation) to Zov's in the Platinum Triangle, one of the city's latest developments, where a delicious Meditteranean dinner awaits you.

Where to Play:

  • Angel Stadium of Anaheim - It's Sho-time at Angel Stadium! Come and watch Japanese sensation Shohei Ohtani and MLB's Angels hero, Mike Trout while they're in town for a home game.

  • Golf at The Pelican Hill Golf Club - With unparalleled views of the Pacific Ocean from every tee, the North Course is only rivaled by the South Course's oceanfront views.

Best view of Disneyland's Fireworks:

  • ACC North - Walk over to our newly expanded convention center building to watch Disneyland's epic fireworks show from the 10,000-sq. ft. terrace overlooking the Disneyland resort.

  • The FIFTH: Grand Legacy Hotel - Anaheim's newest rooftop bar, grab a table or hit the dancefloor, and await the fireworks - you're sure to have the best seat in the house!

Great Places to Take a Break:

  • Outlets of Orange - OC's largest outlet mall and minutes from the Anaheim Convention Center, snag a deal on luxury threads at your choice of outlet stores like Bloomingdales, Saks Off Fifth and Neiman Marcus Last Call.

  • Snowopolis at the Anaheim GardenWalk - Home to the 24K ice cream cone, Snowopolis is just steps away from the ACC and the ultimate place to snag an Insta-worthy sweet treat.

Where the Locals Go:

  • Anaheim Packing District - From the famed Anaheim Packing House, the original Anaheim Brewery and The MAKE Building - housing Pali Wine, Unsung Brewery and Jav's BBQ - bring your appetite because you're sure to fill up on all the unusual eats and drinks in the Packing District.

  • CtrCity - Anaheim's restored historic district is where the locals go to walk down Center Street Promenade, eat an Anaheim Taco from Chef Jimmy at Pour Vida, chased down by an authentic Hungarian Chimney Cake from the House of Chimney Cakes.
