by: Destinations International

As we all know, this year has dealt a huge blow to the meetings and events industry. As we continue to evolve and best serve our members amid this crisis, we’ve made strategic steps to adapt and grow one of our most valuable offerings: MINT+.

For years, MINT has helped our members to prospect intelligently for group business, armed with valuable information about historical meeting details and future bookings. Six months ago, we partnered with Simpleview, the travel and tourism industry’s leading provider of integrated marketing solutions, to enhance the current tool and build a new visionary project. Our shared goal was to create a tool that enabled CVBs and destination organizations to use collective data more effectively and refine the system for ease of use and greater efficiency.

Of course, the year has unfolded like we never imagined and our progress has hastened as we work to enhance this critical tool for our members during the travel industry’s recovery and beyond. Today, we’re thrilled to share some of the latest developments with MINT+ made possible through this new joint venture.

The Newest Enhancements to MINT+

  • A whole new look of the system has been developed to improve usability and navigation.

  • A more seamless user flow with detailed user tracking has been incorporated to improve system navigation, workflows and user engagement.

  • More robust data! We have added new data fields to thousands of existing records.

  • CRM integration has been streamlined, with the addition of a new “Bookmarked Organizations” and “Bookmarked Meetings” feature for efficient data import.

As exciting as these new features are, they have proven all the more pivotal as destinations navigate through what are sure to be some challenging months ahead. We are confident that this powerful database will prove crucial for the meetings and events industry as recovery continues. To learn more about how this tool could help your own organization, please reach out to the MINT+ team. We look forward to sharing more progress in the months ahead!
