Richard Black is responsible for driving strategy for Sojern’s Destinations, Attractions, and Airport verticals. Richard has more than 25 years of advertising sales experience in the IT and travel industries. Richard has built and led numerous sales teams across the America’s. Prior to Sojern, Richard held the Head of Advertising Sales position at TripAdvisor that included building the DMO and LATAM Sales teams from the ground up. Prior to Richard’s past 16+ years in travel, he held strategic positions in the IT media space at IDG and TechTarget which led to an IPO. Richard is an accomplished speaker, presenter, media contributor, and is part of the eTourism, US Travel, and Destinations International Partner boards. He is a graduate of The University of Georgia. Richard resides in Hopkinton, Massachusetts with his wife Melissa. He has three sons; Austin, Harrison, and Parker and a dog named Georgia.
