Volunteer leadership drives Destinations International and Destinations International Foundation and the members of our volunteer committees play a very significant role. Whether shaping new tools and research, offering recommendations for programs or identifying industry best practices, these members collaborate with their peers and association staff to enhance member benefits and develop vital resources designed for destination organizations by destination organizations.
The respective Board or Committee Chairs make the committee appointments and are for one-year terms. Volunteer committee members can expect to take part in regularly scheduled committee calls, roughly once a month, with other meetings/work at the discretion of the committee chair. Several committees also meet in person during the Annual Convention and other Destinations International events. If you are interested in serving on a committee, please complete and submit the attached application by August 31, 2018. If you have any questions, please reach out to Jack Johnson at [email protected].
