Need higher level convention sales and services learning? This summit was created for you. The summit has been renamed, reimagined and redesigned from the ground up. Destinations International will now offer a full summit offering focused on strategic sales and services for CVB executives. All sessions are geared for both sales and services personnel.

Topics will focus on the Unique Sales Proposition for CVBs when working with meeting planners and are backed by research, industry leaders and new insights from advisory boards. Specific content will focus on how CVBs deliver value to planners, how planners view CVBs as part of their business strategies and how CVBs can create destinations that encompass experiential learning while focusing on intellectual capital. The rules are changing for meetings and events and CVBs have a unique opportunity to fill a crucial role in the delivery and execution of successful events for those in the meetings industry.

For 2018, our key stakeholders have been focused on meeting and event planners, venue managers, and destination leaders to deliver both qualitative and quantitative research on the issue of Travel Boycotts and Bans. Our goal was to educate internal stakeholders so they feel fully armed to both proactively and reactively address the issue. This session will include a full release of the latest research, in addition to two toolkits designed for both meeting and event planners as well as destination leaders.
