Destinations International is about serving destination marketing professionals first and foremost. Together with our members and partners, Destinations International represents a powerful forward-thinking, collaborative association, exchanging bold ideas, connecting innovative people and elevating tourism to its highest potential.

As the global trade association for destination organizations, convention bureaus and tourism boards, Destinations International supports more than 4,800 professionals from more than 600 destinations in 15 countries globally. In January 2017, Destinations International launched a new strategic direction for the organization to build a new framework for the Association. Led by the President and CEO, along with the senior management team, all aspects of the organization were evaluated and prioritized.

The Association seeks to raise the level of professionalism in the destination marketing industry, serve as a vehicle for the systematic exchange of information pertinent to the industry, exert a collective influence in matters that may impact global official destination organizations and position the destination marketing industry as an important economic generator in member communities.

It is with the strategic goals and objectives outlined in the 2018 Business Plan that Destinations International will continue to set a path for the future to be the leading authority and resource for the destination marketing and management industry globally and provide members with what they want, need and are willing to support.
